According to the Revised Code of Washington 69.50 controlled substance act, Ganja/Marijuana is misclassified because:
1) Marijuana (Cannabis) has accepted medical uses; 2) Does not have high potential for abuse; 3) Is accepted as safe for use in treatment in the U.S.
Also, RCW 69.51 the Therapeutic Research Act has been on the books since the late 1970.s and points out that items 2 and 3 do not apply to marijuana (Cannabis)
